Cross-border Cooperation Centre

• Establishes contacts and co-operation between entrepreneurs, non-government organisations and local government bodies in the Carpathian Euroregion,
• Seeks partners and obtains financial aid within the framework of EU cross-border programmes,
• Organises training events and visits of local entrepreneurs in Slovakia and Ukraine,
• Collects and provides information on the conditions of business activities in the countries included in the Carpathian Euroregion and the methods of obtaining financial aid for small and medium enterprises (SME's),
• Maintains a database of commercial offers (mainly in the Podkarpackie Voivodship and in the borderline areas of Ukraine and Slovakia).

Major achievements

• The database maintained by the Centre for Cross-border Co-operation in Przeworsk is an important source of information on Polish-Ukrainian commercial offers,
• Due to the activities of the Centre, constant co-operation has been established with partners in Slovakia and Ukraine,
• The intermediary activities of the Centre have resulted in the commencement of co-operation between 13 Polish and Slovak institutions, Two international conferences, Polish-Ukrainian and Polish-Slovak, have been held.
